  2. 1.2

The Grant is applied as a credit of between RM3,000 and RM10,000 against the fees for software development services performed by AGBTECH for the Applicant, comprising requirements analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.

  3. 1.3

The Grant is not payable in cash, is not transferable and may not be exchanged for any other product or service.

  4. 1.4

Where the agreed scope of work exceeds the value of the Grant, the balance is payable by the Applicant in accordance with a written quotation accepted by the Applicant before work begins.

2Costs not covered

3Eligibility

  1. 3.1

The Applicant must be a business entity registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) and actively operating in Malaysia.

  2. 3.2

Each business entity may submit one (1) application per intake. Applications by related entities for the same problem are treated as a single application.

  3. 3.3

The application must be made by a director, owner or partner of the Applicant, or by a representative duly authorised by the Applicant.

4Application and supporting documents

  1. 4.1

Applications are assessed on the clarity of the problem described, the losses it causes or the gains available if it is resolved, the credibility of the estimates provided and the Applicant’s commitment to the pilot.

  2. 5.2

The software solution, including its scope and design, is determined by AGBTECH based on its assessment of the problem described.

The value of each Grant is determined by AGBTECH within the range stated in clause 1.2, based on criteria including the uniqueness and urgency of the problem, and is stated in the letter of offer.

  4. 5.4

Submission of an application does not guarantee approval. Grants are limited in number and are awarded at the sole discretion of AGBTECH, whose decision is final. AGBTECH is not obliged to give reasons for any decision.

  5. 5.5

A Grant is approved only upon AGBTECH issuing a written letter of offer to the Applicant.

  3. 6.3

If the Applicant discontinues the pilot before the end of the minimum period without the written consent of AGBTECH, AGBTECH may invoice the Applicant for the value of the Grant utilised.
